Portuguese language course

Hey fellow students,

Is anyone participating in the portuguese language course offered by the university of algarve for the international students from 1 September to 21 September?? And where will people stay during the course? Anyone any ideas on affordable short term accommodation?

I also want to follow the Portuguese Language Course from 1-21 September.
I'll arrive in Faro on the 29th of August and I will stay in a youth hostel the first days (email address: faro@movijovem.pt), untill I'll have found a permanent accomodation...
Maybe we can search together?

I'm not going to be attending the language course as I won't be arriving until the 15th but how are you guys finding it so far?? Did you manage to find accommodation okay?

I just checked the forum now lol so i guess we already met...haha

Olivia, I still haven't found anything cause I am also looking at renting something on the beach which is quite difficult. But me and a spanish girl saw this nice little portuguese house right in the center of Faro with 5 rooms and a huge roofterrace...so if youre interested we can show you the place. its 180/month including electricity and water...we'll be at uni tmr for portuguese class so if you want we can meet you there...
we'll be having lunch at 1 at the cafeteria with the yellow chairs.

Hi Laura that sounds like a really good deal
I'll try to find the place, is that at the Gambelas campus? I only get there tomorrow morning so I haven't got a clue where anything is yet!
